The first player taken in Round 1, No. 2 overall, is Penn State RB Saquon Barkley by the New York Giants.

Can someone give a summary of Minnesota Gophers UDFAs offers, and tryouts? That will be greatly appreciated.

I wonder how the BIG compares to the other 4 Power 5 Conferences? (probably last place)

Glad to oblige. The number tally does not add up. I am one over, but who cares...

Of the 520 players on the official draft prospects list for the draft, only 256 players were taken. About 49.2 %

"Mr Irrelevant", the last player taken, Trey Quinn, a Junior WR prospect from SMU has to be breathing a sigh of relief.

Of the the total number of college football players in 2017 (30,516), only 0.83% were drafted into the NFL in the 2018 draft.

Getting drafted is quite an accomplishment by any metric.

It’s almost like having more NFL caliber players helps you win college games.
