Doogie: Another staff departure from #Gophers men's hoops?

Shaun Brown may be leaving. Saved everybody a click. Not a done deal though.

Shaking up the staff hopefully is a positive thing. I'm curious if they are unrelated departures or if Coyle or Pitino decided change was necessary? If so...which guy? The Jeter addition is an upgrade. Hopefully the others will be too. It would be nice if the upcoming coaches had relationships with productive player additions. Anxious to see who we add for players and coaches.

Pitino needs to change something to address the way that team tanked last year.

Did a great job with Mo Walker, but is this departure all that impactful? It seems like the emphasis on strength/condition would come from the top down (ie Pitino). I imagine there are plenty of guys who can fill this role adequately.

Yeah I'm sure he is still searching for that magic spell to make sure 4 key guys don't get injured/suspended.

I’m sure we could get a good replacement with the facilities we have

I don't get the joke. Both were pretty damn strong and well conditioned. Sure, BK's legs were not filled out, but thats not because lack of effort.

You're probably right. Maybe what they really needed was a mental coach instead of a strength coach.
