Tony Levine, the classy former Highland Park and Gophers wide receiver who went on to become head football coach at the University of Houston, then an assistant at Purdue before resigning three months ago, is about to own-operate a Chick-fil-A franchise near Houston. The career change will allow Levine, 45, more time with his wife and four children.

Go Gophers!!

I had hopes when Tony took the Houston job that he would find success in coaching. The long hours make it hard on raising a family. Hopefully, he finds a good balance in this new endeavor.

Owning a restaurant is not without comparable hours to coaching. But, maybe a franchise is less demanding than an independent? Best of luck to Tony.

You know the saying, own your own company and you never have a day off. Pretty accurate

Good for him, he must have done well, getting into those franchises is no small financial deal.

Recruiting I would think is pretty stressful. Restaurant business isn't exactly stress free either along with the hours. Perhaps home more as you wouldn't have to travel much.

Unless it's one of those state fair booths that makes $2 million in two weeks.
That's the gig I want!

Likely not much difference between fast food workers and Houston recruits.
