Spring Game Details

Last year's oars are in the hallway from the locker room to the field where the fans can't see them. If they're going to collect them they should put them somewhere more public.

The Players like them there. :p

It’s for the players, not you. Criminy.

If you do the tunnel team thing (if you can) you line up with them.

I think its cool.

I found the oar we donated last year there.

Great that there will be a real game, though they may have a fast clock. Details later?

Yeah I've been down there a lot but the average fan doesn't see it.

I get the appeal of having some down there but now that they'll be getting more, it seems like the extra ones wouldn't add much to that tunnel but would be nicer in a more public area. Or put the new ones down there and move the old ones up somewhere more public.

I wish they would have chosen team Anthracite vs team Chrome!

Heck, if the players like the oars then put them all down there. I am trying to imagine a public place they could put a bunch of oars and have anyone care.

I LOVE THIS IDEA! And these promo pictures on Twitter are awesome -- sick, as the young people might say (if they still say that). They should televise the first bit of the team draft on FB Live!

I'd like to hear more about the free food / menu....

I probably should have gone to lunch before checking up on Gopherhole... :pig:

They're not for you, they're for the players.

per Sid:

• It will be a new format this year for the Gophers’ spring football game, since the team has a fully healthy roster. The U announced that Team Maroon, coached by offensive coordinator Kirk Ciarrocca and captained by linebacker Thomas Barber, will face Team Gold, coached by defensive coordinator Robb Smith and captained by running back Rodney Smith, at noon on April 14 at TCF Bank Stadium.

Go Gophers!!

At this rate the spring game will be played in a blizzard. Let's hope the jet stream changes course soon....

I usually go to the spring game but .... duno, another possible event is calling ... indoors....

Wait... So we're actually playing a real game this year? Like, with a winner and a loser? I never thought I'd see the day. I am much more interested now.

Subway?

Today is likely the day of the draft for the spring game, as per CC45's instagram story. His post says "draft day" and features KM21.
