Bell and Wagner are All-Region WBCA nominees

The Women’s Basketball Coaches Association announced today the All-Region nominees for 2018 WBCA NCAA Division I Coaches’ All-America. The selection committee will select the 10-member WBCA NCAA Division I Coaches’ All-America team from these 52 candidates.

In the AP All American awards, Bell made honorable mention, but Wagner was left off.

There were some good players in the honorable mentions.

Congrats to both Wagner and Bell and to Bell for the Honorable Mention AP award. Lots of good players on this list. I think if Bell comes back she has a chance to be an All American again. The progression she made from last year to this was remarkable and I believe there is more there. Another year might give her a good chance to be drafted in the WNBA.
