Supposedly there is a tape where Miller OK's a $100,000 payment to Ayton???? I mean how does the NCAA let this happen? If they win the whole thing we will have a reigning champ who allows fake classes and a new champ who we have proof pays its players......yuck.

Plus Buffalo is fun to watch. Go Bulls.

Why aren't you disgusted watching every team play? I would wager a good 75% of major conference programs have some shady dealings

Not defending Miller here, but you have to consider the source of this news. ESPN has already issued two corrections to the original article, and one retraction of a correction. And the piece's author, Mark Schlabach, admitted after certain "facts" in the article were questioned, that he never actually heard the tape in question, only that he was told about the tape by an unnamed source. If this reporting is anything like ESPN's initial reporting on Deflategate, there could be a whole lot of "fake news". At this juncture, I am on the fence about whether Miller is guilty as charged or a victim of a fake leak and overzealous reporting.

Even if you don't buy ESPN's report on Miller at all, there is still the Arizona assistant who has actually been indicted by a federal grand jury on multiple criminal charges.

The free labor racket is the bigger issue for me (hate the game not the player).

No reason to rake it truckloads of cash on NCAA free labor. Everything should be club style with promotion/relegation:

It could be march madness on steroids with promotion/relegation league play and a knockout cup style tournament alongside of it (march madness).

I hope Ayton did get paid. He deserved it. He was certainly worth the money for the program.

I also don't trust a word ESPN said. If I was going to come out and report that I have a tape of Sean Miller talking about paying a player, I would be prepared to play the tape.

It isn't free. A college education is worth tens to hundreds of thousands of dollars immediately, not to mention the incremental gains in income over one's lifetime.

Even if the NCAA doesn't have the stones to punish them Arizona is in deep **** for awhile. They have 0 recruits coming in for next season and they are losing a lot off the roster to the NBA.
