The way it looks, if the Gophers make a hockey coaching change, the decision will come down to either assistant Mike Guentzel, Tampa Bay Lightning assistant Todd Richards, Buffalo Sabres assistant Tom Ward or Northern Michigan coach Grant Potulny. All are Gophers alumni.
