Morris was terrible. Just a ball hog that took terrible shots. I guess he was a D1 player, but he hurt the team more than helped it most the time. Either way,
fringe D1 is what they turned out to be. Remember, he was dismissed from the team also...

Not because Pitino thought he was a fringe D1 player. Morris averaged about 10 points his last year here and 11 his first year here on shooting percentages similar to Mason. Not saying he's as good as Mason, because he's not, but Morris was far from terrible and far from being a fringe D1 player. You either aren't being honest, have a terrible memory, or simply don't know what a fringe D1 player looks like.

I give them a "D".

Mason is a B+ because of his streaky shooting and too much hero ball.

LMAO, Nate Mason became a first team all-B1G player (how many of those have we had) and will finish as one of the program’s all time leaders in scoring and assists. There’s a chance his jersey will hang from the rafters some day.

And Gopher holers are giving him B’s and B+’s.

Lol only on gopher hole.

Mason will not hang in the rafters

Probably not, but he did finish second all time in assists, fifth all time in scoring, and (sadly) was one of our few 1st team all-B1G selections in the last 20 years.

The point is more about the ridiculousness of some peoples' grading.
