On Tuesday night, the University of Minnesota men’s basketball team will celebrate the 90th anniversary of the opening of Williams Arena as "The Barn Turns 90."
When the Gophers hosts Nebraska at 8 p.m., they will be running special promotions and deals to mark the event, including throwback audio and video features throughout the game.
Fans ages 90 and over will be able to attend the game for just $0.90. Tickets must be purchased at the door. And, the first 250 fans in the arena will receive a voucher that allows them to purchase one concession item at the 1928 pricing.
Event promoters will also give out free cupcakes to the first 90 fans who purchase any item from the concession stand in section 114.
