A while back a story was done on the chef from a local establishment in Dinky Town. At the time it was unknown if he was still going to cook for the Gophers once the Village was completed. Is he still involved in someway or did his restaurant lose a major contract due to the fact the Village was built?

It could easily be someone else you are referring to, but Baldy’s BBQ did a lot for the team when Jerry Kill was coaching and Leidner was playing. They closed the Dinkytown location but are still in business at the original Lakeville location.

I do believe with the new village they have a dedicated full time chef and offer more varied nutrition based selections. It’s not just football but all the athletes.
