In an all around tough night for the Gophers at Mariucci, Mittelstadt had his problems. Minnesota put four shots on goal in the first period which included a power play early in the period. This was matched by four shots on goal in the second. We also had some undisciplined play including running the Irish goalie, Morris, twice. McManus's goal was the Gopher highlight and it was cool.
