I'm not sure how the U.S fared in the game, but ESPN-U is rebroadcasting the USA vs. Canada 19 -U game from last night. It was played in Dallas.

New Gopher receiver Rashod Bateman was slated to start at receiver.

It was a 47 to 7 win for the U.S. team. In a game where the ball was run a lot, Bateman had a few short catches with yards after the catch. He also scored on a 15 yard double reverse..

International Bowl IX MVPs and top prospect performances

Best of the Rest

WR Rashod Bateman (Minnesota) - Bateman is a wide receiver who is silky smooth with a gliding top-end speed. He has the ability to make defenders miss in the open field and at times makes the game look easy. The 247Sports Composite four-star scored on a double reverse in the first quarter.

People do this all the time.

It was a reverse, not a double reverse.

Correct. What many people call a reverse is actually an end-around, and what many people call a double reverse is actually a reverse. A true double reverse is very rare because it takes a long time to set up.

True!

What is a jet sweep then?

A hand off to a WR/RB in the slot who has gone in motion prior to the snap. It's very similar to an end-around, but the player doesn't go in motion and doesn't move toward the QB to receive the handoff until after the snap.

What is a jet sweep then?

See the video of the Bateman TD on the reverse. It is initially a Jet Sweep.
When QB is under center, the jet sweep action happens a bit faster than when he's in shotgun like the play above.

LOL...I thought I was the only one bothered by this! A double reverse would've been if Bateman had taken the reverse and later handed the ball off to another playing going the opposite direction, which as dpo pointed out below would've taken far too long in any realistic/competitive football game.

Anyway, great to see RB had good success in this game and looked "silky smooth" according to that report above. VERY excited to see this kid as a Gopher!
