Rossi hired as 10th Asst.

If the Gophers are going to have a "pass rush specialist" on the coaching staff, hopefully they'll actually have a pass rush next year.

Another note from same story - former Gopher OC Jedd Fisch (or, as the Walrus called him, the "Pet Fisch,") is interviewing for the QB Coach job with the Atlanta Falcons. Working for Tim Brewster apparently did not hamper his career.

No. Just his inability to hold a job longer than two years.

EDIT: Thanks Hates Monikers

I assume meant to say "his inability to hold job longer than two years."

Going back to 1997, Fisch has only had two jobs for more than two years: with the Houston Texans (2001-2003) and Baltimore Ravens (2004-2007). Since then he's made seven stops and hasn't lasted more than two years in any of them. He was in four of them for a year and three of them for two years.

If there was ever a need for a "specialist" to asssit a position group, this would probably near the top of the list not far behind Quarterback Specialist

He should put on job interview seminars. He keeps getting hired.

Yeah but he keeps getting jobs.... I need to get some tips from that guy on how he gets hired so easily.

Now we need coach #9.

I was kind of expecting Paul Hayes - ex HC at Kent State - would be the new hire. Before taking over at Kent, he worked with Ed W at tOSU. As I remember he has served at lots of schools on both sides of the ball. Iowa State and Cincinnati both showed interest in hiring him as an assistant. But I thought with his experience with Coach W, might be enough for PJ to hire him.
