Coach Mo to Texas A&M

Massive loss. Fleck gets all the glory for the recruiting class, but Linguist may have been the most valuable guy on the staff in relation to securing that class. If not for the kids that Annexstad brought with him, Linguist is listed as the lead on most, if not all, of the recruits from the South, and some from Ohio, etc. (Bateman, Edmonds, Manns, Smith, Okonji, Oliver, York etc). Who knows if we get any of those kids without Mo.

It'll be interesting to see if this has an impact on the number of living rooms they are allowed into in certain areas of the South next year. Evidently, he had all sorts of connections in recruiting hotbeds.

So PJ isn't an Xs & Os guy, AND he isn't the best recruiter on staff? I'm starting to think he is overpaid.

Fleck did fine at WMU without Linguist. I'm not willing to declare it as a massive loss at this point.

Hoping we can recruit as well as WMU! [emoji32]

Linguist was the lead on the recruits from the South because that was his territory. Nobody else would be the lead.

The Gophers will be just fine. All head coaches should want their assistants to move up in the ranks.

Yes, lead recruiter is overrated in my opinion. It's more about the position and head coach.

The guy is from Texas, and TAMU has dump trucks full of cash to waste on their average SEC program. They want to win a Natty, but have big delusions of their own greatness. I wouldn't read much into the guy leaving, but rather save my reaction to see who they get to replace him.
