Recruiting Question

It was reported that there were 10 or 12 "Official" recruiting visits over the week end. Also that there may have been another 10-15 "Non-official" visits, mostly from Minnesota kids.

My question is what is the University allowed to do for a kid who is unofficially visiting the campus? Can the school give him tickets to the game? Are they allowed to allow them into the recruiting areas with the other recruits on their expense paid visits?

Teams have tickets that they can give away to recruits. I would imagine that most commits and recruited players that want to come to games can come to any that they want.

As for what they can do, they can do everything that a official visitor can, the only difference being that they have to pay for everything themselves.
