LOL. Just some levity. After seeing where the thread discussing timing of a suspension, i thought a light hearted (okay, stupid) post might be good.

Some schools have a different mascot than what the team is named for. Stanford's mascot is the tree, but their team is the Cardinal. Since it's named for the color rather than the bird, it would weigh nothing. Now, for the Golden Hurricanes, I wouldn't assume a hurricane made of gold, but a hurricane that just happens to be golden in color.
