A look at the meat of the schedule for the 6 Big Ten "contenders"

I'm not sold on Purdue having separated themselves like Michigan State has. I'd say more like Michigan State all by itself and then the Gophers, Purdue, and Michigan in the next group and then kind of everybody else. Gophers stay healthy and I'd be very surprised if they finish any lower than 3 in the conference standings. Really think they match up well with Purdue again.

Michigan State the clear #1. I didn't make that clear. However, I think Purdue is the clear #2, and really the only team with a chance to win the title other than Sparty. Gophers already behind the 8-ball and climbing uphill with the loss to Nebraska, ditto for Maryland losing at home to Boilers.

I've always thought the KPI should be considered more in determining selection/seeding. I think it's much more effective in that way, than BPI and KenPom are.

If these rankings sre accurate- the Gophers are a bubble team most likely NIT material

10 BT wins with this team is a real stretch- look at the schedule. I cant see them winning more than 1-2 road games and you know they will lose a couple at home

I see four road wins and seven at home. Tie for second place.

Why is that, because the B1G is so incredibly talented this season? Are you kidding me?!

4 posts? Very suspicious. Who are you really?

Suspicious? Have you been watching the games? Gophers look like bubble team material. Sorry if I dont spout the company line. Getting blown out at Nebraska and Arkansas should have told you something.

If you can't see at least 10 B1G wins and more than 1 or 2 on the road you either have your eyes closed or you aren't looking very hard.

I think you are looking through maroon and gold colored glasses. This team has shown it is bubble material to this point. Struggling to beat Drake and Harvard at home. Getting blown out at Neb and Arkansas. Get real
