No bench and the mental toughness of a JV team. Disappointing.
 


The refs have certainly let Nebraska play much more physical on defense. Combine that with horrid play by the Gophers......and we're losing by double digits to an inferior team.
 




Well, this is a disappointing performance.
 

We are playing like an AAU teams no hustle, no defense, all whining.

I don’t think team will play with this effort often, but if they do. 9-9
 




I got news for you... they ain’t winning tonight. Sucks. At least it was a road game.

Officiating aside, its bothersome that in the Miami loss, and this current game, the Gophers are getting beat down low. Even with the Curry injury, that is where our most depth is, and where the most talent is. Thats supposed to be this teams strength, and in the loss, and this game, they are being exploited down there.
 




All the reffing and execution issues aside, it's becoming clear the guys don't really want this game.

Just watching the guys' body language, no one wants to play ball tonight. The bench looks like a bunch of corpses and the guys are giving a half-assed effort on both ends of the court. They just don't give a crap.

Pathetic and inexcusable.
 

2 fouls with 15 minutes left is not foul trouble. It is okay for us to play defense.

We have depth down low in the sense that we have a lot of butts taking up space on the bench. We have 2 big men that play basketball.
 


Stop trying to work it inside. They're letting them mug us, it's not going to change. Our only hope is to get hot and hit a bunch of 3's. Get Harris in the game and tell him to fire away.

Would be better to play small against this team (or maybe any team) because it would mean we never have to play Konate or Fitzgerald.

Thought the same thing in the first half...just looking at the body language of Murphy on the bench, and the guys around him giggling...Body language was just saying that they expected to come in and win, just because they are supposed to be the better team.
 


We need our team leaders , Mason and Murphy to get this team back on track. All good teams have those players and tonight we are seeing hustle from Mason but not much energy from the rest of the team.

The entire team (including the bench) are pouting and feeling sorry from themselves. They just don't care. And as a result, they're getting wacked by an awful Nebraska team. Pathetic on every level by all involved.
