I think he'd be a more impactful recruit to land than Matthew Hurt tbh. You'd get more than a year out of him and he's not far off as a player.

I came away thinking that last year but the few times I saw him this year his post game looked phenomenal. I might have just caught him on a few of those "in awe" games.
 

He was hurt at the end of the season, I don't think his foot was total healed during the section games. He was walking around with a noticeable limp. I'm sure that played a roll. He's really good I'm not saying that, I would for him to play for the gophers. He just need to improve in areas.
 

Huge strides in 20 months. Big upside, lots of new offers coming.
 



Know only that has a tremendous relationship with Ben Johnson and that UK ,KU,TEX.TECH have all moved in and the ACC is coming. His progress has been so consistently upward and that is what they love besides the obvious size and skill. No clue on his attachment to home.

"The visit went great, I like Coach Kyle Lindsted and Coach Pitino a lot," Garcia said. "Last year obviously I didn't talk to them too much but this year during the winter season and during the spring season we have built a great relationship.

"I was going to go down there this week to visit but the deadline has to visit has ended and they have some stuff going on. But I liked the visit a lot and I hope to go up there this summer to shot around, check out the facility. I've been there before. The new facility is sweet, I like it a lot. I like the Gophers a lot."
 


If he committed early he would be a huge draw for other recruits. Pitino would take his commitment immediately.

That was exciting to watch and I'm looking forward to seeing Minnesota take the next steps as they keep building it up. You know, we have a lot of great talent in this state. Maybe if we can get a couple of the guys (to go to Minnesota) we can build it up to a Final Four contending type team."
