Good for Streveler, but this has nothing to do with the Gophers. His ship has moved on. He fits FCS really well.

It is hard to say how he will do against higher caliber B1G defenses had he been still with the Gophers.

His performance in FCS does not necessarily translate one to one in FBS.

I bet if Demry was their QB they would have won.

Coach Brohm at Puedue walked into a situation where he had two excellent QBs waiting for him. Fleck had none. With Streveler, PJ may have won two, maybe even three extra games. He got away in part because Kill wasn't interested in developing a good passing game - he believed in running the ball and controlling the clock.. Gophers completed two passes last week, three this week.

The service academies were embarrassed for us....

Streveler has absolutely no ties to PJ Fleck, therefore it’s irrelevant.

Look on the bright side. 3 of those 5 completions were to Rodney Smith. I’m guessing that means for passes that actually go across the LOS, Croft is hitting at about a 16-18% clip.

Baby steps people. He’s only been playing college football for 3 years
