10. Minnesota (5-6, 2-6). A week after scoring 54 vs. Nebraska, the Gophers got shut out at Northwestern.

10. Minnesota (9): Maybe Northwestern was that good. Or perhaps the Golden Gophers are just out of gas. Two pass completions and three interceptions won't cut it. And with Wisconsin headed to town, Minnesota looks stuck at five wins in P.J. Fleck's debut season.

Gophers should’ve won that game. The fact that they both ended up being awful explains why it was a close game. The bottom 7 (8 if you include Iowa) of the conference are all absolutely below average.
