So, I know this isn't really Gopher related other than the fact that we played the Golden Bears in an exhibition game and won by almost 50.

But last night, Concordia-St. Paul went on the road and defeated Milwaukee 69-55 at the Black and Gold Shootout in Milwaukee. Keep in mind this is the same Milwaukee team that blasted Iowa State 74-56 in Ames on Monday.

Not sure what to make of it other than to simply say that on any given day...and so on...

Milwaukee used to have a pretty good program under Rob Jeter. Not sure we're they're at now.

That's the place the announcer went off on the incompetence of the whole athletic department when he retired or was released and the whole program imploded (it may be one reason we got Akeem). We're not sure where they are but they did wax Iowa State of the vaunted Big 12. Too bad Concordia is D-2 and we can't get some RPI bump from this.
