The University of Minnesota football team will host Iowa on Oct. 6, 2018, as part of the school's Homecoming festivities.

In addition to competing for the coveted Floyd of Rosedale trophy, the contest will also be Minnesota's 100th Homecoming game and 14th against Iowa.

The Gophers are 59-37-3 all-time in Homecoming games and have won their last four games against Illinois (2017), Rutgers (2016), Ohio (2015) and Purdue (2014).

Minnesota is 10-3-0 all-time against Iowa on Homecoming and leads the overall series 62-47-2. The only team that Minnesota has played more on Homecoming than Iowa is Northwestern, as the Gophers have hosted the Wildcats 19 times on the special occasion.
