It was announced that the homecoming game in 2018 will be October 6 against Iowa.

Looking at the schedule, that was probably the only option for homecoming with back-to-back road games on 10/13 and 10/20 with the Friday night game the following week on 10/26.

Iowa is our best game on the 2018 home schedule so it's disappointing in some ways that our homecoming game is Iowa but the 2018 home schedule did not provide many other options with the Friday night game thrown in there.

Call me crazy but I think homecoming is extremely overrated unless you live on University Ave or are an alumn that makes an effort to reconnect with a group of college friends that same weekend every year.
