Week 11 Big Ten Power Rankings Thread

I like the trend in the articles here as we keep moving up a spot with each one :)

Daily Nebraskan chimes in:

8. Minnesota (5-5, 2-5)

Minnesota had by far its most impressive performance of the season, a 54-21 destruction of Nebraska. The Gophers dominated in every facet and the win could be a nice stepping stone for next season. More importantly, the win puts the Gophers one win away from bowl eligibility, which would be huge for the program. If they can get another month of practice under P.J. Fleck, that could do wonders for them next season. Getting that sixth win won’t be easy, though. Minnesota ends the year against the top two teams in the west, Northwestern and Wisconsin.

Go Gophers!!

I find it funny that they only ranked the top ten teams. Purdue and Maryland (two teams we lost to), Indiana, and Illinois do not even make the list.
