First, let's get things straight. You can't row a boat on a road. Fleck doesn't have a road map. He has a navigational chart! He doesn't follow the road lines, he follows the compass rose and the trade winds. The ups and downs are not peaks and valleys, they are the eb and flow of the waves.
I just hate it when a writer screws up the metaphor! [emoji41]
