The Gophers survived Illinois and are now 4-3 1-3, time for the meat of the schedule. Iowa comes next and we battle out of the "Pink" locker room for Floyd of Rosedale!

Same place I've been since the day he was hired. One loss or one win won't change that. Whether we finish the regular season 9-3 or 4-8 my excitement for the future of this program won't waver. It's never been about the results this season for me.

The mesmerizing "see of corn" want to make me puke.

I don't know which one is worse - getting lost in the middle of a cornfield that is miles in either direction, getting adrift in a rowboat right in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, or the Gophers being marooned forever in 4th/5th place in the B1G West.

There is hope. We've got a Cap'n who can navigate.
