Does anyone have any insight or understanding of why we didn't apply for a medical redshirt for Lingen last season? He only played in 3 of 13 games according to Gophersports, would be nice to have him around next season.

They can still apply- were all the games he played in during the first 6 games? If any were later he's not eligible.

Not many players have had as bad of luck as Lingen. Maybe Duke Anyanwu?

Dukes bad luck.... knees, easily worse than Lindgen... I don't believe he ever saw the field... ???
Might have gotten into one early non conference game on special teams as a frosh.....

Lingen so reminds me of Duke. You could see the talent...but couldn't stay healthy. Sucks for those young men to make it so far to only have their body take a crap on them.
