From this kid's Tweets, he sounds like the next coming of Tim Tebow. :/

^Arguably one of the best college athletes of all time...

Might be a good get if he is the second coming, although that might also signal the apocalypse...

So is the Almighty better than the Most High? We were the only ones to get an Almighty!

He is enjoying the process! The Gopher Stock is rising...come join us!

Probably not great that several other schools offered first, including Wisconsin.

Hopefully he has improved his game over the summer. I thought he disappeared quite often throughout the course of a game or even the entire season. I think he even missed some games and it took until the second half when I realized he wasn't out there.

He's pretty athletic and you can see his "potential". I'll reserve a comment until watching him a few games this year but really no harm in offering him as he's not deterring anyone else from becoming interested in this program.

per Shama:

Pitino has reportedly offered a scholarship to Hopkins junior power forward Zeke Nnjai. While Nnjai is a talented and coveted recruit, Gopher fans might wonder if this is an acknowledgement it’s unlikely Minnesota can also land Rochester John Marshall superstar power forward Matthew Hurt in its 2019 recruiting class.

Shama is a joke. So I guess that means Pitino should never offer more than one player per each position.

Agree that it is a stupid comment by Shama. Would be foolish not to offer a guy just because you are recruiting someone else with a ton of offers and interest. You can't put all your eggs in one basket in recruiting or you get slaughtered.

About to say offering Hurt and Thomas didn't stop us from landing Oturu and Coffey. Kevin Dorsey didn't prevent Dupree and Jarvis from committing. Will have what four schollies in 19

Come on Zeke, sign the dotted line, stay home and be a Golden Gopher!

The most high? What does Snoop have to do with his scholly offers? ;)

I was impressed with Zeke tonight. He has a very high ceiling and I was glad the Gophers had three coaches watching him.

I imagine he will be a high priority for us this next year.

Go Gophers!!
