Streveler continues his fun and games at South Dakota: passing for 328 yards and 3 TDs Saturday (#16 W. Illinois) and picking up 87 on the ground. For the season (4 games), he's now 1168 yards passing with ten TDs and no interceptions, plus 318 yards rushing and 7 more TDs. Next up: Youngstown State.

So what you're telling me is maybe, it's not that the prior regime couldn't recruit a good QB, it's that they could not develop a QB

The prior regime was too scared to make a mistake. They were forced to start Streveler for one game, and ran the ball like 50 times and only allowed Streveler to try to pass 6 times, and most were at the worst times (3rd and Long). That is the most paranoid coaching I had ever seen. Oh, and remember that one game we were behind Ohio State (I think?) and instead of going for it on 4th down with the game on the line, Coach Kill decided to punt? Yeah... paranoid.
