Default WH admin says Puerto Rico response is a good news story, PR says its not.

Who should we believe on this? The acting secretary of Homeland Security or the mayor of San Juan?

It's probably some where in the middle. One thing is for sure though PR is completely F#CKED

Meanwhile for those wondering what an island is, PTOUS does a nice job of defining it. In his words "This is an island. Surrounded by water. Big water. Ocean water."

Katrina was the proof that we suck at responding to disasters. Amazing that we don't seem to have gotten much better. Why do we have a DHS? Of course when you have something of this magnitude it would be hard to be prepared to everyone's satisfaction. And PR isn't just across the street.

No doubt its a challenging place to get to. I pray this never happens to Hawaii as it is also an island, surrounded by water, big water, ocean water.

But beeg says this guy is brilliant.

Also according to beeg, calling the response to the disaster in Puerto Rico poor is just trying to take down Trump.

It really shows how far the bar has been lowered. This situation now dwarfs the aftermath of Katrina and yet no one seems to care.

But I guess Trump was too busy solving commercial jet crashes.

Hey, it's just a matter of which reality you prefer - the one on the ground or the one in people's heads. Either is valid in its own way.

And Don is making them bigger and greater than ever before. Like the stock market, the sea levels will only go up under Trump.

Trump provided no assistance to PR. Had to go the private route. Short term benefit. Long term disaster.
