Surprise teams
1. Purdue. The Boilermakers are 2-2 and thinking bowl. The defense has been sneaky good, while Jeff Brohm extracts all he can from an offense that has two good QBs.

2. Minnesota. The Golden Gophers are off to a 3-0 start that, in the words of new coach P.J. Fleck, is ELITE!! The defense has been spectacular.

3. Iowa. The Hawkeyes look tough up front on both sides of the ball and have an emerging force at QB in Nate Stanley. Could Iowa win the West?

Dienhart finally has something good to say about us?
 

Not yet sold on Iowa.

Gave up almost 500 yards to Iowa State, a game they should've lost, and almost 600 to Penn State, a game they had no business leading at any point.

If they bounce back from the soul-crushing defeat to win in East Lansing, I will start to buy in.

Always tough to win at Kinnick Stadium regardless of the Hawkeyes record.
 



Gophers only a surprise to Dienhart because he's a total dink...as many Gopher fans tried explaining to him on Twitter in the preseason.
