Which college football teams have the most young talent? While it's a subjective term, we scour the rosters of the nation's top teams to see which have the best non-draft-eligible talent. It's no surprise to see bluebloods like Michigan, Ohio State and Alabama near the top, but there will be a few that surprise.

For the purposes of this exercise, we are considering only how effective a team's freshmen, redshirt freshmen and true sophomores are or will be at the college level. This is not about NFL draft potential. If a two-star freshman guard is killing it, the two-star guard is an asset to the college program for the long term, even if he is ill-suited to be an NFL offensive lineman.

9. Minnesota Golden Gophers
Top young players: DE Carter Coughlin, LB Thomas Barber, DB Antoine Winfield Jr, WR Tyler Johnson

The Golden Gophers have a great young defense and wide receiver looking for the rest of an offense. All three defenders featured played as true freshmen, and Coughlin and Barber set an intimidating tone while Winfield is a shutdown back. The offense at this point is basically "throw deep balls at Tyler Johnson or be incredibly boring." But hey, 3-0 for Minnesota is pretty promising, no?
