So great seeing all the work to keep the top Minnesota kids home paying dividends this year!

Love seeing guys who could have gone elsewhere choosing Minnesota and being leaders!

Tyler Johnson, Carter Coughlin, Thomas Barber, Kamal Martin, Lingen, Andrew Stelter, Nick Connelly, Connor Olson, Rhoda, Cashman, Phil Howard, Ayinde, Dovich, Schlueter, Renner all playing roles for Gophs already this year. Demetrious Douglas and Antoine Winfield homegrown in large part as well. Andries, Seth Green in the two deeps. Roles in future for Hmielewski, Mafe, London, Bursch, Ryerse? Jordahl a mainstay on st. Reger and Morse both playing. Elmore was another good local recruit.

Love seeing just a very few Minnesota kids on two deeps of other Big Ten teams, other power five teams.

Look for PJ to take that from a very few to none!

We've got more talent here than the recruiting services give credit for. Our gain......everyone elses loss.

But we need to get more of those Minnesota 4* and 5* when we have them. Thank you Carter for staying home.

If we ever see Gophers football get to Indianapolis(hopefully some day), it will be because this Generation of Minnesota guy's decided to be part of the change and the turn at the U. All we can hope is the State continues to turn out more talent and that we continue to see our best stay home.

2018 looks to continue the great trend of MN kids staying at home as well. 2019 is a huge year with Carroll and Benhart, cautiously optimistic we can get the bookend tackles next year!

I was thinking the same thing watching the Last game. Great insight and compliment to the state of MN football
