I liked the all White. I thought it looked great against OSU's grey and the dark green of the field.

This was my main reason for liking the unis yesterday. Can't say I loved them, but they looked pretty sharp in comparison to OSU's. Give me the choice and I would of course throw in more maroon and gold (helmet and pants), but these are OK.

If you don't have a classic, recognizeable brand nationwide, like Penn St, Michigan, Alabama, etc (and we don't), I think it's a good idea. At the very least, the only thing it hurts are the sensibilities of a few traditionalists.

Remember white makes you look bigger and faster. Ok in my book.
 

I thought they looked really sharp and clean. My only gripe with the unis is the 'Row the Boat' on the helmets. Go back to 'Ski-U-Mah'.

I would prefer some gold somewhere - Gold helmets or gold pants. I don't like any of the monochromatic combinations. (that means all the same color......)
 



Looked nice, once a year is plenty. Could have had some gold trim somewhere.

Once a lifetime is enough for me, but I'm never going to get upset over a uniform...especially if we win.
 

I don't think that'll be the last time we see all white this year. I also think all gold is coming soon.
 

I think they are nice, it's something different. Don't really understand why people have a Cobb up their rear end when it comes to white, regardless of which sport.

Pretty sure I don't have a Cobb up my rear end, but I don't like all white uni's...mainly because they remind me of Penn State and I hate Penn State.

I thought I heard @Iowa was going to be a night game. @Michigan the following week would be another candidate.
 

When I heard rumor of all white I thought I was going to hate it but I actually thought it looked pretty good. Never bene a big fan of the white pants but on this particular combo they didn't bug me much. Obviously the only real complaint is that the Golden Gophers were missing gold in their uniform but in this day and age it is tough to identify teams half the time anyway because there are so many different uniform combinations anymore.
 

I like the all white with maroon helmets. Not a fan of the white helmets though.

I thought the gold gloves were a nice touch and a good contrast. These Gophers are all about accessorizing.
 

If this white look reminds us of Penn State, and it did with me anyway, then we should keep using it. Looked classy and if the recruits like it then it is perfect. Like many here, I recall the glory days of Penn State, they were a machine. We can do this.
 

For all of those claiming that there was no gold on the uniform, there was a gold block M on the jersey collar. Not a lot, of course, but it was there.
 

Surprisingly, I liked the white uni's. Most importantly how do the players and recruits like them?

ugly and does not represent the maroon and gold which is our mainstay. At a minimum, a gold or maroon helmet.

This is incorrect. The maroon helmets the past few years have had a matte finish. The maroon helmets against Buffalo were not matte maroon, they definitely had a sparkle or shine in the finish.

OK the maroon helmets may be new. Not everything else.
