per ESPN991.com:

Every college football team has a chant or a song that they sing after a score and the University of Minnesota is no different.

As a former student at the school, I know the words and the motions, but that was not always the case. I had to use the Google machine to find out the exact way of doing things my freshman year.

I was asked by a friend the other day if I still could remember what the chant was that Gopher fans chant after they score at TCF Bank Stadium… The answer of course was YES.
For those that don’t know or have forgot, here’s how it goes.

(M I N N E S O T A, Minnesota, Minnesota, ayyyyyy Gophers!)

So don’t be the one left out next time you hit up a game at TCF Bank Stadium, cheer loud and join in the fun. #RowTheBoat

Go Gophers!!

Always thought it was "yay Gophers....Rah!!" Also worth noting that the chant is the conclusion of the Minnesota Rouser. Full of tradition. You all know it:
Minnesota hats off to thee! To thy colors true we shall ever be, firm and strong, united are we. Row, row, row, come row the boat. Row, row, row, row. Row for the U of M.

The Rah! is important at the stadium.

Its officially "Yay Gophers!" but I've heard "ay Gophers!" and "Hey Gophers!" as well.
