Leidner just threw a nice spiral pass for a first down.

Under review. Confirmed a catch.

It is nice to see him on the field as a home Viking QB even if it is for this series. Not many local hometown players can realize a dream even for a fleeting moment.
 

Leidner's best NFL game will also be his worst.
 

Nice game for Mitch- something he'll be able to tell kids about. Good for him.

He got paid to play football this week. Good for him, it's a dream every kid has and me lived it.
 

Ditto - he played a nice game tonight, something like 15 for 19. His size and strong arm were a reminder of why he played so many games for us. Something to tell his grandkids about.
 

Lots of cheers for him coming into the game. My only reason for watching the 2nd half at USBS was to see the Isle of Leidner live in purple for a day

Nope, not at all. Leidner was brought in to take a few snaps this week and give him a chance in case someone had room on their practice squad. Heinicke has the 3rd spot locked down until Teddy is ready to be activated.
