My favorites involve the maroon jerseys & gold pants. I like both the maroon & gold helmets with that combo.

Anthracite. Bonus points if they add Goldy the Gopher with evil red eyes somewhere on the uniform. It will never happen but I can dream.

Full Banana, or all gold should only be used for special meaningful games, like when something substantial is actually is on the line. Not just trinket games either. If the stated goal is to play for championships,
then putting the "Golden" in Golden gophers should mean only all gold for the truly special games, not just throw away senior day option either.
If you put full banana on, that should mean something to the team and the fans. Gold out's should have meaning to the fans to. Some day it will.
 

Call Stoll brought back the all gold uniforms but they were kind of drab. I would really like a return to the glory days gold uniforms but flashier. The kids love the fancy uniforms. We are appealing to recruits with our uniforms and gold is the real tradition. Murray went away from the gold helmets (which were worn in the Bierman/Fesler/Giel era) with a white helmet. But he eventually went to a gold helmet. So you guys that talk about tradition are really harking back to the Mason years when he tried to copy USC
