Wasn't taking notes, but...from memory...

PA asked him a lot of stuff that has been talked about a million times - QB situation (nothing new there), praised Steven Richardson, Antoine Winfield. PA joked about winning 11 games - Fleck defused that talk right away and said game by game. Talked about the State Fair being elite.

That's about all I can remember.

He's #Elite

Nothing like a little PJ to get your day going.

Really likes McCrary on top of loving Smith and Brooks...Smith maybe best vision he has ever coached...Brooks has elite burst, power, hit the hole...McCrary great 3rd down back size at 245.

Likes DeLattiboudere. Likes Coughlin. Likes Shenault. The Huff twins.

They are among his difference makers.

Loves his linebackers and their depth. Martin, Poock, Barber, Celestin, Cashman all mentioned.

Loves Steven Richardson. NFL Scouts all watching him. Fleck thinks his height an asset for leverage that will help him in league. Long arms for his height.

Really impressed with both quarterbacks. Both really tough. Both showing leadership. Both deserve to play.

Oline looks good, wishes it had more depth.

Good things on Tyler and Douglas.

Burns was on before him and said some good things about Croft also.

Burns also mentioned Harris and Estes as guys who can help right away at cornerback. Seemed really high on Estes.

Winfield is a guy who can play corner, safety, nickel, or even a hybrid linebacker.

When you factor Winfield, Estes, Harris, Durr (by October) into the cornerback equation with Shenault, Kiondre and Craighton, I think we are in good shape.

Burns had good things to say about HandyHolly.

Burns(?)was also the guy who said "that many(most) national publications were saying 4 or 5 wins".

Yeah, USA Today.

;)

I'm optimistic Fleck can get this team on the right track.

If we can beat Buffalo and MTSU for two wins.

Then maybe win two of these three:

Maryland,
Purdue,
Illinois

Then steal one more from:

Oregon St
Mich St
Mich
Wisconsin
Iowa
Nebraska
Northwestern

I'll call it a success for year one with an inexperienced QB!

F*The Facts? Hilarious. Nice troll attempt!:drink:

5 wins would be a huge failure by Fleck and Company. That happens and no reason to buy Season Tickets next season. There will be plenty of seats available all year long! You must think that he's a very bad coach indeed.

He's not.

But keep trying!

What will the Gophers regular season record be in Fleck's first year?

12-0 - 5%

11-1 - 0%

10-2 - 4%

9-3 - 13%

8-4 - 29%

7-5 - 30%

6-6 -11%

5-7 - 3%

Less than 5 wins - 4%

I'm a huge fan and I'm going to the Buffalo game to show support.

It's a culture change so this isn't going to happen overnight.

Lol. Steal one against Oregon St? That's hilarious. If we only win 5 games without suffering catastrophic injuries I will eat my golden gophers sweater.

No, taking them from 9 wins down to 5, according to you, will happen in less than a year.

8 regular season wins in 2013.

8 regular season wins in 2014.

8 regular season wins in 2016.

5 regular season wins in 2015 (with AD fired, coach resigning, and close losses to #2 TCU, #15 MI, #8 IA and losses to #1 Ohio State, #16 NW, and Wisconsin, #21 that year.

Why anyone doesn't expect 8 wins with this schedule is beyond me.

Burns was on before him and said some good things about Croft also.

Called out Douglas as a Frosh ready to contribute right away...looks, performs, and acts like he's a seasoned player. Also thought there's a legit possibility Gophs could be 7-0 going into IA and depending on how IA does, could turn into a Gameday possibility.

If we don't curb stomp buff, mtsu, md, ill, and Purdue, I'll be disappointed. We will be heavily favored.

Toss ups vs osu, Iowa, msu, and nebby

Prob loss: Michigan, WI, and nw

That looks like 7 win as an expectation and possible 8 barring catastrophic injury bug.

Nice try clown

I am a huge fan of Fleck, but sometimes get a little tired of the same old phrases, just because I have heard them many times and some come off as cliche. With that being said, his speech at the end of the segment got me really fired up. He absolutely hit it out of the park with his plea to Minnesotans about their one college team. Loved it. Wish I was tailgating at the bank right now!

This is true.

Everyone wants to just show up at the end and book tickets to the Rose Bowl.

Not many want to put their hard work, money, patience, or effort to win 5 games this year and slowly build on that over the next few years.

Instead everyone wants to jump-start to 8-9 wins even though the rest of the country has us at 5-7 wins.

Be patient. Support the U and the program.

Too many people on here just asking for 8-9 wins this year and a Rose Bowl after.
