Some of it is baked in just because of non-con being early and wisconsin being the last game (as long as they are still good), but yeah it seems like since the Mason years our schedule has always been brutal late. It's like a double-whammy, too - not only are we playing better teams late in the year but we are playing teams with superior depth at a time when everyone is dealing with various injuries. I was reading a story a while back that was showcasing how Alabama becomes increasingly difficult to upset as the year goes on. Many teams have the starters to (somewhat) hang with them, but as the season progresses and 2nd/3rd stringers become factors nobody can match their depth.
