Yup- Until the Gophers start winning big, the media will keep assuming that they really aren't very good and won't do much. Some of the "analysis" that the media spews is just knee jerk stuff. Sometimes I wonder how Minnesota would come out if the topic was "which Big 10 state has the most lakes?"
 

Odds they did extensive study on any of these units other than seeing who had returning all conference players? I'd say about zero
 


Iowa was #3, OSU #6, Wisc #7, Indiana #20, PSU #21, Michigan #26 and Minnesota #34. Even WSU is at #30

Think our group is better than 7th best in the league.
