I heard the PJ interview today. He seems high on Douglas, for sure. He says that he didn't know if Andries would play this year. It sounded like he is getting some hard lessons from his defensive teammates, but it's all part of the learning process.
Sid asked Fleck how much he learned from Kill at Northern Illinois. P.J. deflected and said he's learned from a lot of coaches including Joe Novack, Mike Nolan, etc. He wasn't disrespectful, but I don't think Jerry and P.J. will be exchanging Christmas cards. Fleck did offer praise of the previous staff when it was mentioned that Minnesota football has the hightest graduation rate of any public institution.
