Bowl projections after Week 1

From ESPN...

Schlabach doesn't have the Gophers bowling. Feldman has them taking a Mountain West at-large in Boise playing Fresno State. Both have Penn State as the Big Ten's BCS representative.

Whoa, evaluating a team after more than one game? What a concept!

We need 5 more wins.


Games I think we WILL win:

SDSU, Illinois


Games we COULD win:

Air Force, Northwestern, Purdue, Wisconsin.



Games that we are LONG SHOTS:

Michigan St., Iowa.


No Way:

Cal, tOSU, Penn St.


So we need to win 3 out of Air Force, Northwestern, Purdue, or Wisconsin. A win this week would be huge!

Hopefully we can win most of the games we should and pull an upset along the way. But I see us coming in around 5-7. Our schedule is so nasty this year. Syracuse was a good start, no matter how ugly, making a comeback on the road? I'll take it!
