Props to the LB's yesterday, they were everywhere, especially Lee Campbell. This is definitely the strength of the defense.

Leadership

The defensive leadership, attitude and effort is much improved. Campbell was relentless and has that nasty attitude we need leading our D. I can't remember the last Goph LB who went sideline to sideline so hard all game long. Great job Lee!

Simmons is a dynamic top tier corner who can both go man and support the run (looks a lot like the Vikes Winfield). Traye plays with his head ...steps up and leads by example. He almost single-handedly contained the highly touted Williams and stuffed some key runs and screens.

Its a long awaited pleasure watching our D dictate the engagement. Kudos to Cosgrove for instilling the new hard arse attitude in our guys.
