DeLeon Eskeridge?????

Did anyone else notice the extra e in DeLeon's last name on the back of his jersey today? I always thought it was Eskridge but today it was written as Eskeridge. Anyone know the reason for the switch?

He legally changed his name. He wanted to add the extra "E" for effort.
