Only 3 of their 11 WR recruits since 2013 are left at Iowa due to transfers, leaving the team, etc.

Only one WR has caught a pass in a game, the other two were only targeted a few times, didn't make their catches.

And the one WR that has caught a pass (Vandeberg) is coming off an injury that saw him miss the majority of last season. AIWRHG is vengeful.

Lets get that damn pig

I don't know if I'd get too overconfident. This is Captain Kirk and his #1, Brian. The Ferentzi (fitting considering the contract).

Vandenberg (assuming he recovers from Jones fracture and no reason to think he won't) is a good WR. Noah Fant should be an elite pass catching TE ( we offered him). Wadley can catch. Some Guy will fill in at WR2, likely a walk on and light up the Big Ten because that's just how these things go for the Gophers (half tongue in cheek).

In all seriousness, They're going to be a ball control, run heavy team that plays occasionally good defense. Should be a good game and they're as ripe as they will ever be in Iowa City.

By the time we play then they will likely have receivers with plenty of catches.

Wow! Maybe this can be one of our 5 or 6 wins and count double too! Then our season would be better than last year. That'd give us 10 or 12 wins. We could get pig rings with our 10 win record total engraved. Awesome!

A good win over one of the 3 always counts double.... more if it is one of them.
