Gabe and Tre are playing but I wonder why Oturu isn't
Also Pitino has said that Fitzgerald should be cleared mid-late June and this league up until August 10th. I'd love to see him join a team once he is cleared and get a sneak.
This thread is always my favorite of the summer. I agree - Mason, Coffey and Mbakwe is gonna be tough. I just like seeing all these names from the past...and the guest appearances.
It has been free in the past - don't know if that's changed. It was out in the 'burbs for a while so I haven't been lately. Love the idea of having dinner at one of the great places northeast or downtown and then hoopsHow much does it cost for admission?

I got the team with Mason/Coffey/Mbakwe. I don't see them losing a game. Might have to check this out. Would be fun to see Lynch vs. Mbakwe and also see the matchups between Mason, Washington and Jones.
I wouldn't be too worried about finding a seat unless Karl or Wiggins comes to play.Anyone know how busy these games get? Do i need to tent out overnight to get seats?
Yeah, I noticed in his high school clips, he looks like a more than willing passer. These proams are more like ab all-star game. A little more defense is played, but not like a real game. Nothing wrong with Washington trying to show off a bit in his first game in the Twin cities. It's a valid concern if you only watch his highlight clips, but to be fair to Isaiah he earned Mr. Basketball in the state of New York. It's not like we picked him up off the And-1 tour (if that's even a thing anymore). He's played plenty of organized ball with referees that are going to blow the whistle if he get's excessive with palming it on the dribble. He understands the difference between pick up games in Harlem vs. organized team basketball.
I'm hopeful Pitino can bring out some more defensive intensity from him. It's an all-star game, and word was he and Murph were late due to an afternoon work out so I'm sure he was tired, but nevertheless he seems to take a pretty nonchalant attitude at that end of the court. That will be the evolution he needs to make before B10 if he's going to make a big impact this year. Overall, has the makings of an extremely capable B10 PG.

...which is all I've done. I'm not ripping the kid, but was just curious. Thanks for your thoughts and I think he will be great, I was just making a comment that he seemed to be doing things in certain settings that weren't conducive to Big10 basketball...but you bring up a good point that they are just from highlight tapes.
