I'm ok with it this time only for Sherrels as he needs to get healthy and this would force him to. He has so much gun ho that even his wife I guess has to put the hammer down on him to slow down and get well.

I still will be surprised if he ends up being the 10th assistant. I hope I'm wrong, because I think he did a good job and I think he'd be a good addition to the staff, but I just don't think either Coyle or Fleck wants that connection to the previous staff, no matter what has been said previously. That and the longer he's away the easier it will be to hire someone else.

I won't be surprised if he ends up in the athletic department in some other capacity once he's healthy enough to work again. But if he wants to coach I'm guessing it will have to be somewhere else.
