On notdoogie's podcast, notdoogie noted that several very prominent, "high level" Gopher fans have questioned various actions Rick Pitino took this last season. Examples of questionable decisions that were made which were pondered via an anonymous fan source was playing time for Michael Hurt during the 2016-17 season and how that would impact the recruiting efforts for his brother Matthew.

Another prominent anonymous source questioned if Richard Pitino would leave the Gophers after another successful year, possibly for Duke should Coach K retire. A prominent Duke fan suspects that Pitino would be on a short list for that job should Pitino have a highly successful 2017-2018 season with a deep run into the NCAA's.

Notdoogie also referred to another confidential source close to the Minnesota Gophers men program who indicated several high level supporters of the program had questioned who would be a part of the 2018 recruiting class. They also referred to the conflict between administrators and the athletic leadership at the U included Kaler and Coyle and their commitment to Gophers men's athletics.

Finally, the notdoogie also reportedly heard from high level athletic department contributor that they would no longer buy premium season tickets if Gaston Deidhiou doesn't play a more prominent role as a 3 point specialist during the upcoming season. This same high level Gopher contributor also suspected that the 2018 game at US Bank Stadium might yield a very high profile opponent. On the short list of teams theorized by the supporter were Rick Pitino's Louisville Cardinals, or some other ACC team, as well as a upper echelon PAC-12 team whom the Gophers have not played recently. Also rumored was a perennial sweet sixteen power.

Wait! Today isn't April 1

Sorry you are disappointed in the effort. Just thought I'd drop a few lines for a little humor. Not meant to be a long lasting bit or anything so don't be too upset. Sorry I wasted the minute or two of your time if you read it to completion.
