Hi,

Stupid question. Fleck keeps talking about only having 5 or 6 offensive lineman.

Is that because we lost so many to graduation or transfers or is this just because we have about 9 guys injured who can't play right now and by fall we should have 10-15 healthy guys?

Or are we really screwed with just 6 and by the time two guys get hurt we'll have TE's playing RT for a Vikings-like 2016 offensive line?

4 guys are injured. 3 more will be here for fall camp.

So it's 6
Plus 4 injured
plus 3 more?

13?

We'll be okay?

We should be fine in August. Maybe even ready for a national championship run coming off our 9-4 season...

They had 5 and then got one back, so 6. Then Oseland got injured, so back to 5. Fleck said they expect all back for fall and couple could come back late spring, but he will keep them out until fall. 13 in the fall. Need that number in the 15-20 range.

They have two walk ons coming so should be 15.

ON the roster there are 11 OL, Keuhn, Just, Greene, Connelly, Oseland, Olson, Dovich, Weyler, Calhoun, Schlueter, Wright
3 recruits Andries, Sassack, Schmitz coming in the fall plus preferred walk on Rousemiller. Who's the other PWO?

15 OL to start the fall.

Not sure I would trust that roster since Kuehn announced he had to give up football due to a health condition about two months ago.

Forgot about that. Thanks.
So as of now, 10 OL in Spring camp. With 3 recruits and 2 Walk ons coming in the fall.

They have 10 offensive linemen at spring practice wearing helmets, shoulder pads etc all dressed the same. The difference is 5 guys wear red pullovers. They are right there moving from drill to drill. Listening and asking questions. Participating in every way except actually taking physical reps. The 5 injured are totally up to speed on philosophy, culture, terminology and assignments. The healthy guys don't do a lot of banging...it's footwork and mental decision making of do this when etc Use this technique but at walk through speed.
